For the past 20 years, Verm-X has been working to combat the growing problem of anthelmintic resistance. ‘Anthelmintic resistance’ or ‘wormer resistance,’ as it is more commonly known, refers to parasites that have evolved to be no longer affected by pharmaceutical wormers.

This is a concern that should be at the forefront of every animal owner’s mind, and it's not just limited to your household pets. Recently, the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) have called it one of the 'most serious threats' to the equine industry that we have seen in recent years.

Verm-X have been working hard to combat the resistance cycle for over 20 years. Our completely natural products offer owners an environmentally-friendly way to promote a healthy microbiome in your pets. Using tried and tested herbal blends to support intestinal hygiene can mean that your animals are less likely to pick up any intestinal challengers.

Does Verm-X work?

To help us understand the impact that choosing natural intestinal support was having on our customers and their pets, we recently asked you to complete a survey. We were delighted to receive over 350 responses within 48 hours.

Over 90% of responses indicated that, since using Verm-X, your use of pharmaceutical wormers had decreased. 88% of customers also told us that Verm-X had helped you to become more aware of the environmental impact of using pharmaceutical wormers.

These results have far exceeded our hopes and have prompted us to try and quantify how much you’ve cut back on these products.  Please can you help us measure our impact in encouraging a reduction in the use of pharmaceutical products by answering one last question?

We really appreciate your support in helping us calculate our positive environmental impact and we look forward to sharing our results with you soon. If you would like to share any further thoughts or feedback on our products, you can email us at sales@verm-x.com. We would love to hear from you.
